These cute mini figures represent The Womens Accepted Volunteer Emergency Service - a division for women of the U.S. Navy during WWII.
These smart and patriotic young women had uniforms designed by French couturier Mainbocher - who also designed the wedding dress worn by the Duchess of Windsor. This is series 2 of the Waves figures by Takara Tomy (Fiction f/16 scale). Size of figure 10cm tall. Size of pack 8 x 11 cms approx.
