SAM stands for Super Animal Machines, are Red Magic's latest introduction to the collectible platform toy market. The story of these is that they are aliens who are on earth disguised as pandas - who then disguise themselves as various war-like characters, such as Vikings. They are a chunky and squat 3 inches tall, and sit on a ball joint that gives them a satisfying roly-poly stance. One of the cleverest and funniest additions to the urban vinyl market in recent years, the standard of design has been consistently high and inventive.

They are sold in Japanese stores as a 'blind box' assortment - you won't know which one you have until you get it home.
